Instructions

Our group decided that each of us would look at the city in a different way.  We went and took pictures at the same time, but each put an emphasis on something different.  My thing was shape.  Anything I found with shapes i would take a picture of.  Of course everything has shapes in it, but I tried to take pictures of only the most literal shapes.  I took Pictures of signs and buildings, as well as patterns designs.  Anytime I immediately saw a shape when I looked at an object I took a picture of it.  

The Church

There is a beautiful church in the middle of Catonsville.  The windows of it were perfect.  I took many pictures of this church.  

Signs of Catonsville

When first trying to find shapes in the town to most obvious things were signs.  The town is littered with signs from shows and buildings.  Some of them hang over your head while others stick up from the ground.  Walking through this town was really interesting.  

The Shapes in the Ground

While walking through the city trying to find shapes, I noticed that even on the ground there are patterns and shapes.  I took a picture every couple blocks and some interesting things.  

 I found some metal thing in the ground.  It has an interesting shape so I took a picture.

While walking with the sun on my back I found a man hole cover.  Though these appear everywhere I felt that I should take a picture of it anyways, because it's a perfect circle.  

All the trees of Catonsville have metal grates over them.  They had a really cool design so I took a picture.

Welcome to Catonsville

Catonsville is a small little town with many interesting shops and stores.  There's many colorful signs hanging from all the shops giving me plenty of opportunities to find shapes in the town.
